Who We Are

Nebraska Independent Living Center (NILC) believes that individuals that we serve are part of our family. It is the purpose of NILC to provide varying services by creating appropriate options for individuals with intellectual, mental, and physical disabilities.  All programs and services are individualized to address the needs of each person receiving services. 

Mission Statement

Creating a better life and community living for all metro individuals with Developmental Disabilities is Nebraska Independent Living Center (NILC) Mission Statement.

We provide a compassionate and respectful environment, preserve our individuals’ dignity, and seek collaboration with other disciplines to achieve an optimum level of independence. Every person is different but is able to perform on multiple levels if appropriate guidance and care are provided.
